Years with Foyt: 22 years, all with A.J. in 1988 . Foyt
was still driving.
What is it like working with Foyt? I enjoy being part of
his team, he has been very good to me and my family. When he
speaks you listen.
Off the track: My family and I enjoy boating and fishing
in Minnesota. All the boys like being together, shooting trap,
working on home projects. My wife Lois and I have three sons.
Brian is the chief steward of the IRL race series, and my oldest
son Brett works for Cummins Diesel as an engineer,and he also
works on the IRL tech committee. My youngest son has also worked
with A.J. responsible for the 14 car telemetry. Curt also works
as an engineer for Cummins Diesel Engines. Brett fueled the
winning car #14 in the 1999 Indy 500.
What do you drive? Chevrolet Silverado
Do you fix your own truck? No, just try to keep it clean.
Perfect day: Being around the race crew, competitive on
the race track,and going home to be with family
